2006

Founding of DataOptique

Having worked for several years for various polling institutes and on marketing studies as a statistical processing manager and a statistical director, Mohammed RAHMI decided to create DataOptique.

This company's goal is to develop new and modern collection tools based around mobile technologies.

2007

Founding of Forstat

In 2007 to meet the growing demand for manual data entry, DataOptique created a new structure in Oran, Algeria.

The company took the name Forstat and began to process the growing volume of customer requests. It helped keep costs down and meet deadlines.

2010

Recruitment of an R&D team

In 2010, the creation of a new division specializing in R&D was necessary to meet the needs of our clients in terms of surveys and database management.

This new team started working towards the development of innovative software and tools made for data collection.

2012

Launch of Cawipad

After 2 years of development, Cawipad is released by DataOptique in 2012 as an innovative app and tablet combo.

This ergonomic tool is made for investigators to use in all types of scenarios. Saving time and resources, by removing paper from the equation.

2016

Development of DopReader

To gain efficiency and agency, DataOptique developed its own optical reading and survey processing software internally.

DopReader was made by our R&D teams and can thus be changed easily for any specific needs of a survey campaign.

2019

Launch of Cawibox

In 2019 DataOptique launched Cawibox, a device that brings online surveys ever closer to participants.

Adopting an innovative approach, Cawibox is able to broadcast surveys through its Wi-Fi network, directly to the smartphones of multiple users at once, anywhere.

2020

New services and digital presence

In 2020, our company pursued its R&D projects with mobile technologies and smart objects (IOT) in mind.

The purpose of this strategy was to strengthen our ability to provide data collection relays through the interaction between users, places, and objects.

2021

Founding of Welwot, our IOT start-up

In 2021 DataOptique creates Welwot. A start-up dedicated to the development of new technologies to connect objects, places, and users.

The goal of this sister company is to develop new services useful for people in all sorts of locations.

DataOptique keeps developing new ideas and systems both innovative and varied, to try and meet the future needs of our clients.
